About the artist
Sasha Puchkova was born in 1989 in Baikonur, Kazakhstan. Lives and works in Moscow. An interdisciplinary artist, working with graphics, ceramics, digital collage, VR, creating objects and installations. A member of the Digital object Alliance and “ШШШ”. Graduated as a graphic designer (2012) and studied at St. Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design, Department of Art History and Theory (2012-2014), British Higher School of Art and Design in Moscow in the programme “Media Design” (2015-2016), The Rodchenko Moscow School of Photography and Multimedia in the “Interactive and Communication Media” workshop (2016-2019), received a Master of Arts degree from the University of Manchester (UK) at the Moscow School of Social and Economic Sciences (2022). Participant of the the 6th Ural Industrial Biennial of Contemporary Art in Yekaterinburg (2021). Resident of the Garage Studios (2022-2023) and the 9th season of Open Studios at Winzavod Centre for Contemporary Art (2023) in Moscow. The works reside in the collections of Multimedia Art Museum, Moscow and “Micricollection” (Italy).
