SISTEMA GALLERY invites visitors to immerse themselves in the ambiance of cozy winter evenings within the living room of contemporary art. Settle into an armchair by Dasha Maltseva’s fireplace, a piece that combines intricate contours and hazy, dreamlike forms, transporting curious viewers to the atmosphere of a medieval castle.
Nearby stands a “cabinet” adorned with Kristina Pavlova’s “soap remnants.” The melting crystal loses its familiar shape, transforming into artifacts of a bygone era, still faintly alive in the nostalgic memory of days long past. The fragility is supported by Daria Arbuzova’s “jellyfish”, praising the ephemerality of the world of their existence. For those in search of intriguing treasures, Alena Kirtsova’s boxes offer a glimpse into personal mysteries, self-contained worlds, and the aftermath of private storms hidden beneath the guise of fragments.
For dreamers seeking to drift into reverie, the abstract works of Austrian artist Rudi Molacek beckon. His ability to capture the essence of the “here and now” allows him to transfer emotional variations onto the canvas, where they waltz across a spectrum of infinite colors. Katya Shinkareva, on the other hand, offers a sensual representation of everyday life, stripping it of all figurative conventions. In her painterly metaphor, every emerging element influences the final composition, transforming and consuming its parts. The result, unpredictable and unplanned, becomes a new foundation for a profound understanding of the familiar.
