SISTEMA GALLERY became a participant of the second edition of the Contour graphics art fair, which took place in the underground car park of the Sheraton Kremlin Hotel in Nizhny Novgorod from 17 to 19 May 2024. Stand No. 37.

SISTEMA GALLERY presents graphic series by five artists at the Contour graphics art fair: installation sketches (2005-2015) by Rostan Tavasiev, Sasha Puchkova’s prints in dry needle technique, including those from the gallery project “There’s something wrong with this kingdom” (2023), series of baroque still lifes “Driftwood” and watercolour “HellHounds” from the project “Missions ‘the Hearts'” by Dasha Maltseva, new graphics by Darya Kalugina for the gallery project “Heartstanding” (2024), as well as the continuation of the series of butterflies “Filing System” by Alina Kugush.

Rostan Tavasiev was born in Moscow in 1976 Graduated from the Carl Faberge Professional Lyceum of Decorative and Applied Arts No. 332 as a generalist jeweler (1998). Entered the Stroganov Moscow State University of Art and Industry, the Department ofGraphic Design (2000). Studied "New Art Strategies" at the Institute of Contemporary Art,Moscow (2002). Entered the shortlist in the category “Work of visual art” within state prize incontemporary art “Innovation” (2006, 2013, Moscow). Personal exhibition “It'scomplicated…” was held in Multimedia Art Museum (2013, Moscow) and “Wall” was held in State Tretyakov Gallery (2006, Moscow). The works are in the collections of the "Centre Georges-Pompidou" in Paris, the State Tretyakov Gallery, the Moscow Museum of Modern Art, the Multimedia Art Museum, the Ekaterina Cultural Foundation in Moscow, as well as in private collections in Great Britain, Spain, Italy,France, the USA and others. In 2025, the museum exhibition "Harelyaris" was held at the Moscow Museum of Modern Art.

Graduate of theSchool of a young artist of the PRO ARTE Foundation. Participant of the School of ActiveDrawing and Performative Posing SADPP-7 of the group “North-7”. Fellow of the grantprogram for artists of the House of Culture “GES-2” (2024). Resident of the Garage MuseumWorkshops (2023). Nominee of the Kuryokhin Prize (2022) in the category “Best MediaObject”. The works were shown at the international festivals Art Prospect and CYFEST-13 inSt. Petersburg.

Sasha Puchkova was born in 1989 in Baikonur, Kazakhstan. Lives and works in Moscow. Amember of the Digital object Alliance and “ШШШ”. Graduated as a graphic designer (2012)and studied at St. Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design,Department of Art History and Theory (2012-2014), British Higher School of Art and Designin Moscow in the programme “Media Design” (2015-2016), The Rodchenko Moscow Schoolof Photography and Multimedia in the “Interactive and Communication Media” workshop(2016-2019), received a Master of Arts degree from the University of Manchester (UK) at theMoscow School of Social and Economic Sciences (2022). Participant of the the 6th UralIndustrial Biennial of Contemporary Art in Yekaterinburg (2021). Resident of the GarageStudios (2022-2023) and the 9th season of Open Studios at Winzavod Centre forContemporary Art (2023) in Moscow. The works reside in the collections of Multimedia ArtMuseum, Moscow and “Micricollection” (Italy).

Currently studying at theJoseph Bakstein Institute of Contemporary Art. Member of the Creative Union of Artists ofRussia. The artist’s works have been exhibited in Moscow, St. Petersburg, London, Romeand Venice.

Graduated with aBachelor’s degree from the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and PublicAdministration (RANEPA) (2019) and a Master’s degree from HSE ART AND DESIGNSCHOOL in the Contemporary Painting program curated by Vladimir Dubosarsky andOksana Simatova (2022).
