The main subject of Sasha Kokacheva’s research is shapes of personal and collective memory through phantom images of people and self-portraits. The artist’s work centers around reflection on the surrounding world and ways of existence in it. Emotionally charged works with varying degrees of color intensity, but with the same obsessive sense of tension, become the embodiment of inner experiences.
