Olesya Rubeko
Olesya Rubeko, born in 1997, lives and works in St. Petersburg. In 2021, she completed her master's degree in Contemporary Painting at the HSE School of Art and Design (curated by Vladimir Dubossarsky and Oksana Simatova). Her first solo exhibition, "Hide and Seek," was held in 2024. She participated in the blazar 2025 art fair.
About the artist
The artist’s conceptual solutions are based on the creation of metaphorical spaces and stories, which she strives to convey through a sensory, visual language. She explores themes of beauty in the everyday, memory and fantasy, and human sincerity in contemporary reality.
